Conflict

  • Feeding her family but she knows that it is dangerous to venture out slone in the cold wilderness this is an example of internal conlfict one external conflict is the maiden’s fight against the demon another is that of the maiden against the weather.

Man vs. Man: In this story Man vs Man is reflected when the demon Caibal tried to enter the cave and steal her rabbits.

Man vs. Self: It doesn't say so directly in the story, but the fact that the young maiden did what she could to save her rabbits and save herself.

Man vs. Society: When she decides to go to the forest, regardless of whether she was a maiden, since in history she tells us that men were the ones who could hunt animals.

Man vs. Supernatural: The first supernatural element that we can recognize in the story is the cannibal demon, but at the same time the two gods who helped her get home.

Ending by me…

As we can know, the end of this story is that with the help of the two gods she comes home healthy. But another ending that I would give is that no one appeared to help her, but she could  escape from that beast but she got lost in the forest and she was never heard from again. This story became a legend called "the hunting soul" and was very famous since it showed the strength of a young and beautiful maiden to raise her family from poverty.
