The Time Travel Machine

 A KALEIDOCYCLE HANDCRAFTED STORY

One day, two curious brothers, José Alberto and Alberto José, were playing in their house's backyard waiting for their parents. 

Hours passed and their parents didn’t come back so they got inside the house because of the heat and got inside his father's closet because it was really, really big and they liked to play there. Inside they saw a key, a big one, so immediately they knew it was for the basement because their father always said that they couldn’t go in there, so they ran and opened the door.

They walked and saw a big machine, but they didn't know it was a time travel machine and after some minutes they noticed that it was one because his mother always talked about that but they thought it was just a bed story.

In the blink of an eye they were in another year, because of the vibe they deduced was before the 90's, after a walk they saw a man who was working in something beautiful, the machine.

—Wow, this place is so cool. —said Alberto Jose.

—Ah!! —screamed the man because of the unexpected appearance of the children and he suffered heart problems so, unfortunately, he died in that moment.

The scared kids ran to see if he was okay but it was too late. They started to disappear, they just hugged the other and started to cry until they disappeared completely.

That man was the man who created the time travel machine, and was their grandfather. Without grandfather, no father, so no sons. But, if there is no son... Then he couldn't die.

When the kids disappeared completely, the man appeared again, and because of their irresponsibility, that moment became a loop, he is going to die, and the kids are going to be born. They broke the timeline and now they can’t do anything to fix it.
