A Call To Change Our Mindset

50 years from now...

In 2070 the world’s population was completely wild animals, dinosaurs, huge tigers, megalodons, dodos, meaps between other gigantic creatures, full of mutations that allowed them to survive in this hostile environments, where streets were made out of bones, trees were no longer to be seen, just old pictures of gold trees remained for the memories, oceans were now full of oil, houses, malls and every store like place was located underground, UV rays were unbearable for more than 90% of the population, temperatures rose till 150 C during the day, and decreased to -200 C at night. 

Government meetings were scheduled to happen every few months, and they took place at the biggest, most famous and expensive restaurant of the world. President Rex always ordered the classic gold sandwich with a petroleum whisky on the rocks, his old time friend Mr. King never failed to order the diamond soup and his favorite the black tequila, finally but not less important classy Mrs. Phant ordered an emerald salad with straight vodka. This wasn’t the usual government meeting, a secret information had been given to President Rex the night before, and a huge decision was about to be made. 

The night before the meeting, Mr. Rex was informed by one of his scientists that life on Earth was no longer viable, 5% of resources remained for all the population, air was so full with chemicals that the percentage of oxygen was nearly nule, if someone was going to survive, it wasn't on Earth, his scientist told him that he had found a new planet rich in things they will need, in things they had lost along their lives that were essential and precious, things for which anyone right now would have to pay a fortune, the only problem was that spaceships for traveling to this new planet were scarce only 50 people were allowed, the others were going to be left to die. 

Together in the meeting they decided that only the purest species had the right and where going to be allowed to board the ship, the impure species were going to be left to die on Earth, so that their reproduction was no longer a problem, this decision wasn’t going to be a public matter, they would chose exactly which species to bring to the new planet thinking on the things they could provide. 

The passenger list was composed by President Rex, Mrs. Phant, Mr. King, Mr, Dolon, Mr. Tiga between other powerful animals, their departure was happening at 10 am, they were all ready, 3, 2 ,1 the spaceship took off, they were drinking, celebrating their success, their wealth, eating last bit of food that remained on Earth leaving the impures with no way to survive, but in a split second the ship exploded living the ambition and the evil flesh of the “purest” spread like nothing through space.

Note: This isn’t our dreamt rodes of the future, we wanted to make an impact by showing how if we continue through life and this path of consumerism, ambition, power, inexplicable wealth, greed, and superiority, we will end up as nothing more than history.
