Messi's Departure from Barcelona
This 2020, is by far
the worst year in the history of F.C Barcelona, when a lot of problems got together
and made this year horrible for Barcelona.
For the last 3 years, Barcelona is getting worse and worse, since the departure of one of the best players in the squad, Neymar, Barcelona is increasingly in decline, because of the mismanagement of the president and his board of directors. Through this years, they made several club stars leave to other clubs, and in other cases they caused some club legends to not want any coming back to the club, because they don’t want to be a part of the mess that the club is having.
But this year,
everything made a huge Boom, first they lost El Clasico that is the most iconic
match in Spain, and maybe in the world, playing horrible, later in the same
league competition they showed a very bad style playing, until the league
finished, and the greatest rival, that is Real Madrid won the league.
No one knew what was
happening to Barcelona, years ago they were the best team in the world, and
now, they’re a joke. The last hope of the season was trying to compete in a
high level in the most important club competition, the Champions League, but in
quarter-finals Bayern Munich, from Germany, DESTROYED Barcelona in the worst
game that Barcelona has had in YEARS, or maybe the worst in the history of the
club, once again they were the laughing stock of Europe, it was the End of an
era, the end of the fearsome F.C Barcelona. That game was which triggered everything, the chaos had started, it seemed that after that, a lot of players
that were in the club for years would leave because, they don’t give that high
level that the team needs, but by now there’s not a single official statement
that a player is leaving.
If a lot of fans of Barcelona were asking for the resignation of Josep Maria Bartomeu, president of Barcelona, after this catastrophic season a lot more fans are asking for his resignation, and the worst of all, is that Lionel Messi wants to leave the club, why? Of course because the mismanagement of the president, so as a consequence, Messi wants to leave and the fans of Barcelona are furious, to the point that some of them went to the offices and stadium of Barcelona to protest in annoyance and to tell that if the president continues, and if Messi wants to leave because of him, tthey are are not going to support the team as used to.
Why is that so important to the fans? Because Messi is the greatest
player in the history of the club, and maybe the greatest in the history of
football, and he doesn’t deserve to leave the club, and less if he is loved in this way.
Everything at the
moment indicates that Messi is leaving to Manchester City and play for
them, all Barcelona fans want Bartomeu to resign and Messi to stay.
