November 3rd, A Life Changing Date

This Tuesday, November 3rd, the presidential elections of the United States will take place. This election will be the 59th presidential election. Voters choose the delegates who must choose the new President and Vice-president through the Electoral College. Since the first candidacies began to be announced, more than 20 men and women have run to be the nominee of the Democratic Party in the presidential elections. 

To reach that long-awaited nomination, the candidates have to win the internal elections, which were held in Iowa and the Virgin Islands. The two candidates for the presidency of the United States are Joe Biden for the Democratic Party, and also was Vice-president of the UnitedStates back in the presidency of Barack Obama. On the Republican side, current President Donald Trump was selected.

At this moment the polls do not support Donald Trump, he is more than twenty points lower than his contender Joe Biden. The world economic crisis generated by the COVID-19 wreaked the presidency that Donald Trump has developed. 

The most certain thing is that Trump will lose the elections, since people think he isn't the best leader. Many criticize the way he handled the pandemic, with thousands of infections and approximately two hundred thousand deaths in the United States. This will clearly affect the world since Donald Trump had a protectionist policy of the North American economy. During his presidency, he developed several trade wars, he raised taxes and the rates on Europeans, and Mexicans. He caused much economic havoc in the world. A change in the US presidency is sure to give humanity a break.
