DREAMS
We live in a world where the main thing that drives people is money and ambition, a world where you are supposed to study a career based on productivity, leaving aside what you love to do, your passion and even your dreams. This poem from Mr. Hugues teaches us all that if we let anything convince us of the total opposite of what we want to do and let society define us, then we are going to be a broken bird for life, you might be wondering what this means. It refers to the metaphors present in the poem, that portray how if you don’t choose to pursue your dreams, you will feel stuck, with no purpose and you will always fly low and tilted like a sad and hurt bird.
