Thinking On Others' Health

Stubborn-19

Witnessing a disease with over 8.3 million confirmed cases and 300.000 deaths worldwide truly has had a moral impact in our society, it has made people more aware of sanitary conditions and has allowed us all to in some ways realize, that we can not continue living the way we used to as careless selfish destroyers. As incredible as it sounds we are currently facing another pandemic much worse than SARS-coV-2, much harder to cure and understand. This disease has existed among humans since the very beginning and right now during these complicated times, it has spread uncontrollably, causing social media outrage and rejection.

Many protests have emerged, most of them fighting for justice, proving the world is capable of change and empathy, while some others quarantine protesters have been recently diagnosed with a strongly acute disease called ignorance, as they are protesting for things like getting gyms and hair salons open...

Researchers from many hospitals and universities have confirmed the origins of this outbreak, claiming it comes mainly from being stubborn and selfish. Many cases of this sickness have been reported worldwide and are currently causing panic among the communities who fear the infection. We all have different ways to cope with this lockdown but we need to understand that this is a pandemic, and getting your hair done is NOT a priority. On the contrary you can find new methods to do it at home and start caring about your and and your loved ones’ health.

But let's not just focus on foreign lands; currently the city of Barranquilla, Colombia is being affected by thousands of new coronavirus cases, this used to be a city that stood out for its sanitary measures, but is now the second most affected city in the Colombia, with 11.372 reported cases.

Many journalists believe that this is due to lack of discipline among citizens, many need to go to work, hospitals or banks, but others simply go out for luxury, they visit their friends, their partner and celebrate their graduation, and the worst thing, is that they are constantly sharing their gatherings across social media. It is important for us to cooperate and understand that you are posing a threat to everyone's health and you might not even notice it.
