The Champions League Is Back!
Six years later Atlético, having already qualified for the quarterfinals, will return to Lisbon, the city that UEFA has designated as the venue for the final to eight of the Champions League, which will be played in August and whose last game It will take place on Sunday, August 23.
The knockout stages for the round of 16 pending the return, such as Manchester City-Real Madrid; Barcelona-Naples; Bayern-Chelsea and Juventus-Olympique, will be played in the stadiums of the teams mentioned in the first place, with the aim of achieving a balance that the health crisis has prevented.
The final of the maximum continental competition will come almost three months late, but it finally has a schedule, which will start in the second week of August, since Series A ends on August 2 and prevents restarting the competition earlier. The headquarters originally chosen was Istanbul, but the Turkish city decided to resign by having to play behind closed doors because of the health crisis that the whole planet has suffered.
