On Being Thankful
After watching these videos, I believe that we should enrich our life with everything we have in our hands, not only ours but others' ones as well.
Being grateful is the first thing that I consider necessary
and mandatory. It's not just a “thank you”, it's about showing our
appreciation, it also conveys our gratitude.
But more than that, it is a sign
of respect to the person who has helped you (or given you something). It is an
indication you do not take them for granted, and an acknowledgement that they
matter. And that is why saying thank you matters.
If you believe in a change in
the world, give without expecting anything back, enrich your values. Connect
people with people, people with opportunities, people with knowledge, people
with hobbies, people with themselves.
