CORONAVIRUS
What is the
coronavirus?
Coronavirus
(CoV) is a virus that can cause various conditions, from a common cold to more
serious diseases. Coronavirus can be spread from animals to people; one of
those may be the Bat.
This virus
started from 2019 in December, in the city of Wuhan, in China; when a group of
people with pneumonia of unknown cause was reported.
Coronavirus
can be transmitted simply when a person speaks, coughs or sneezes, so it is
recommended that people have good hygiene and cover their nose and mouth when
they sneeze and cough.
In general,
the main symptoms of coronavirus infections are usually:
-Secretion
and nasal drip.
-Cough.
-Fatigue.
-Sore
throat and head.
-Fever.
-Chills and
malaise.
-Difficulty
breathing.
It is
common to have pneumonia and in other cases you can also see gastrointestinal
symptoms, especially diarrhea.
The most
serious symptoms occur in people who may have chronic diseases such as
diabetes, cancer or chronic lung disease.
How to
prevent Coronavirus?
For now
there is no vaccine or treatment for Coronavirus, but to prevent it we have to
have good hygiene, try not to spend time with people already infected, and
cover with a handkerchief or a mask at the time of sneezing or sneezing.
These
precautions should be followed especially by those who suffer from diabetes,
kidney failure, chronic pneumopathy or immunosuppression, since they are at
greater risk of serious illness in case of coronavirus infection.
There are
several types of Coronavirus:
-
Coronavirus of the cold: This type suffers from common
symptoms of a cold, but in more severe cases it can cause pneumonia. This is usually spread in the elderly and in newborns.

- Severe
acute respiratory syndrome (SARS): Causes serious breathing problems in
addition to fever and cough. In more severe cases, blood expectoration,
diarrhea and vomiting occur.
-
Coronavirus COVID-19: The new Coronavirus recently detected, seems less
virulent and with lower mortality. This new virus has caused worldwide chaos.
As it has
been said before, there is no vaccine for this virus, but there is a small
treatment which can improve you a little which is: drink a lot of liquid, be
constantly at rest and if it is the case then take ibuprofen or paracetamol to
relieve sore throat or fever
