Fable

Antonio and The River

Once upon a time, there was a boy who went on vacation to the country with his entire family. One day in the morning, the boy, Antonio, went to an expedition near the place, and he found a very dirty river, since its inhabitants, that lived a little above the hill, had the river as a garbage dump, so Antonio told the River:

Antonio: What happened to you?

The river answered:
Oh, Antonio!, I can't stand the people who live up the hill, they always throw their garbage into me and since the poor river did not reach the sea, all the garbage remained there.

As people did not realize what happened, they collected the water for their own consumption; for example: to cook, for domestic use, and even to drink it. The inhabitants without knowing it, consumed the water. So, as a result, they had discomfort, such as stomachache, fever and other symptoms caused by their actions.

And that's how Antonio decided to help them and resolved to
go and talk to his family about what the poor river had, that the population took it for a dump; and then his parents decided to go to the authorities to discuss what was happening with the poor river because they were using it irresponsibly, since the water of this river serves for many things, but when it got contaminated it was useless.

Then, the authorities decided to organize a meeting with the people to tell them how important the water was and that we should take care of it because water is the source of health.

Let's take advantage of the water to produce electrical energy, since in some places its streams are used to produce Energy.

And that is how Antonio made them understand, they shouldn't throw garbage at the river nor contaminate the environment, but since the river was still dirty, the families that used it as a garbage dump cleaned everything.

Two years later, Antonio returned to the town and realized that people reconsidered and were aware that they neede to act well with nature and the world because the river was very clean and now the families gave good use of the waters of the river.

Some families taught their children how important water is, and from now on, they will also teach the next generations.

That is why we must not destroy the rivers because they are our source of life, without them we cannot live. Water is also essential for the farmers because they irrigate their crops and, from water we can produce electricity, since in some towns they take advantage of its currents, so that there is more power to store.

Since water is the main thing of our daily life and if there was no water, human beings could not live; then, animals and all living beings would die because of thirst.

TAKE CARE OF WATER, IS LIFE AND ESSENTIAL FOR THE PLANET.
