The New Cyberglobalized World
A cyber globalized society? What is that? Maybe sometimes people can get confused when someone mentions those words, but their meaning is valuable. Nowadays, people try to focus on cyber stuff because they think that the internet is the most important thing in society, but just because it makes our life easier, doesn’t mean we should become dependent on it...
The world has increasingly become dependent on information systems, high-speed communications and artificial intelligence. But, what are the risks of these? These are threats to citizens' privacy, global trade, the resilient of critical infrastructure and even the readiness of the armed forces.
It is a shake that traditional security measures are lagging behind new challenges and they are insufficient to prevent emerging risks.
On the other hand, briefly focusing on the point where we are
at, is not easy. Thousands of years of evolution have led us to this moment, to this cybersociety. Internet has been a tool that has built a close relationship with the way in which people communicate, interact and live, so it is not correct to say that this new era of cyber society has been only a risk factor, it has also been a tool that has allowed our society, as we know it, to evolve, improve and even allow new possibilities in the face of everyday's problems and their possible solutions.
