On Being Thankful
Once upon a
time, a family traveled to Europe, it was their first time getting out of their
country. They were going first to Rome, so they went.
The family was
composed by the parents that had 2 boys, the oldest one named Paul, a 14 year old guy, and the
youngest Samuel, who was 8. They were doing to a trip
for Christmas.
First, as I said, they went to Rome, where Paul enjoyed very much
to be,
until Samuel got lost, so they were searching him for hours. Finally, until after 3 hours
searching for him, they found him trying to buy an ice cream near the coliseum, but
when they found him, Samuel said "I wish you never found me, what a boring
trip".
He already wanted to be home again, so his brother Paul was very angry
because of that; then, he talked to him to be grateful because their parents made
a big effort to get the money for the trip.
This way he learned a lesson, being thankful. Then, when they went to Madrid he tried to enjoy it, so he did along with
his family.
From then on, he always tried to be grateful, so they all enjoyed the
trip as a family and they passed New Year's Eve in Madrid.
