The Last of Us, Part II, is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
The Last of Us Part II was announced during a PlayStation event in December 2016 and is set to release sometime in 2020.
Serving as a sequel to the popular 2013 PlayStation exclusive, the game will take place 5 years after the events of its predecessor and will follow the story of an older version of the main character, Ellie, who comes into conflict with a mysterious cult in a post-apocalyptic United States.
The Last of Us was one of the most beloved PlayStation exclusives of the PlayStation 4 generation, so there is no denying the hype levels for the upcoming sequel.
Fans haven’t heard much about the game since the very strange Sony E3 2018 conference. With Sony skipping out on E3 2019, it seems that some news about The Last of Us 2 should be just around the corner.
