Is Youtube Good or Bad for Society?

Over the years, humans have evolved, but like us, technology too, it is so amazing what we have achieved, we have the famous social networks, we include youtube, one of the most famous, in this famous social network, we can find a wide variety of content, for adults and children, this platform has millions and millions of active users, which are divided into 2 groups, spectators and youtubers or influencers, spectators are those who enjoy the content, and youtubers, those who create the content. 

The majority of the world's population knows what this platform is, it is very popular and loved, but there are those who do not share this opinion.

Many of us have addictions, one of the most frequent is the

addiction got through social networks, like currently youtube has at least 1.8 billion active people, many of them have an obsession with youtube, why? When we think of YouTube, we immediately associate its millions of hours of video content with the entertainment world, we can listen to free music, watch videos of our interest, our favorite youtuber, we can even watch series, is it perfect ... or not? 

Today, young people are very involved in the internet, we spend hours and hours on that, question yourself, how much time do we waste? How many times do we unlock our phone to enter YouTube? what do we see there? stupid things like, cat fights, or an ant dancing cumbia for 1 hour, we sat down for breakfast watching videos, we dressed watching videos, before bed we watched videos, 24/7. 

Every day, the human loses more and more his abilities, why? because we have everything on the internet, we look for everything there, if we have doubts, we already forget the old days, read a book, go out and play with our friends, have dinner and talk with our family, that's behind, and almost nobody reads the newspaper,  news are trend in YouTube, we are wasting life, we are slaves of our own invention. If this remains the same, it is most likely that our productivity will fall apart.

In addition to being the favorite place of billions of people, this complex social network is, increasingly, an educational space, Since it was launched in 2005, this site was immediately identified by many educators and entrepreneurs, as a tool with enormous potential to revolutionize learning at all levels.

 There are several ways in which YouTube is contributing to education, this media is a site widely used by students to upload their practical work, such as videos, presentations, and other content, and share them with your teachers, classmates, and with the community or spectators, which is very helpful, youtube disseminates educational content in an entertaining and didactic way through videos and documentaries of different types, open to the community, and totally free. 

Over the years, various channels have been created for different tastes, joke channels, challenges, video games, makeup, tutorials, education, and more, According to SocialBlade, one of the main statistics and metrics sites referred to YouTube, There are at least 500 educational channels that accumulate more than 200,000 subscribers, and 8 million views in their videos worldwide, this makes education, one of the most important categories in the social network.

YouTube is a fairly broad social network, we have endless

content options to see, although it is true that many use it for silly purposes, there are those who use it for educational purposes, it depends on the person, it is not bad to have fun, we can watch videos of cats laughing if we want, the question is not to abuse it, we must spend more time living than in the internet world, now, the question of whether YouTube is good or bad is meaningless, it's like asking if TV is good or bad , or if cell phones are good or bad. It is simply a technology with which we must learn to live together, and to master addiction to it.
