Patient and steady
With all they must bear
Ready to meet every challenge
With care, easy in manners,
Yet solid as steel.
Strong in their faith,
Refreshingly real,
Aren't afraid to propose what is bold,
Don't conform to the usual mold.
Eyes that have foreseen,
What's handwritten is seen,
Never back down,
When they see the truth and the wrong.
They tell it all straight,
And mean it all too,
Going forward and knowing they are right.
Even if doubted for what they would fight.
Over and over they make,
Their case clear,
Reaching to touch
The ones who even won't hear.
