To My Mom
The world gives you so much pain
But she makes good out of it
Because she knows no one else
But herself, can make her own gain.
What if time isn’t enough to return
All the love she deserves
Or my craving hugs for her too
Which remind me to summer smells.
As of now, my mind is buzzing with thoughts
Just at night, when my pillow talk begins with:
How can someone give so much love
Without expecting any love back to hold?
You, mother, are indented in multiple places of my mind,
And I’ll look up at the ceiling,
Thank the stars for giving me a second chance,
In returning my mother’s soul
As my daughter’s
So I can return the comfort she gave me
my entire life.
Thank you mother.
