To All The Moms Out There.
Hi! *waves*
“Mothers and their children are in a category of their own. There’s no bond so strong in the entire world. No love so
instantaneous and forgiving.” —Gail Tsukiyama
One day out of the year,
we have this beautiful opportunity to give back the people who have given us so
much: our moms.
We love them (at times,
maybe not so much) and as we get older, sometimes, we become like them. Whether she
carried you inside of her for nine months or is a non-blood related woman who has
loved you like her own, most people can identify a person who they can be
thankful for on this holiday.
Mother’s day is a day
dedicated to all mothers, celebrated every year to honor the mother and
motherhood. It is celebrated annually on the second Sunday of May to remember
and honor the mother’s responsibilities in the family and society. Nowadays, it has been a trend to celebrate
mother’s day in the schools in the presence of their kids. Mother gets greeting
cards, wishing cards or other special gifts by their kids.
She can be considered to
be our best friend. She comforts us when we are sad because our first toy
broke, she dresses us on our first day of school and didn't get mad when we
cried a lot by the door of that little school that we remember with our hearts.
Out of all the moms in the world, how did I get the best one?.
She always made sure we did our schoolwork.
She had no problem helping us to do our homework. Thank you for the laundry,
the housekeeping, the care when we were sick, the special treats on special
occasions or no occasion at all. Thank you for giving us pieces of advice when we needed them and space when we needed that as well. It's amazing how they still tell us
" you're handsome" "you're beautiful" even though we know
we look awful.
We need to say thank you,
without them we wouldn't be the same, today we don't realize how important they are and in the future when we become professionals and have a family, we will
miss them.
We will remember all the
kisses, all the hugs, and all the scolding.
“It’s
a funny thing about mothers and fathers. Even when their own child is the most
disgusting little blister you could ever imagine, they still think that he or
she is wonderful.” —Roald
Dahl
And we know that we will
always have her smell impregnated in us.
I love you, mom.
Happy Mothers day!
