Healthy desserts for mothers day

Recipes To Share On Mom's Day

Mother's Day is coming, but that's not a reason to stop being as healthy as we have been so far, so that's why we are going to show you some great healthy recipes about desserts you can fix to maintain what you have achieved until now, and have a delicious time along with your kids and family in general.

Some of the recipes that we recommend you are shown below:

1. Avocado Chocolate Mousse

Total Time: 5m
Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • the flesh of 2 ripe avocados (240g)
  • 1/4 cup regular cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup dutch cocoa or melted chocolate chips
  • 3-4 tbsp milk of choice
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • sweetener of choice to taste (we like 1/4 cup pure maple syrup)

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor until completely smooth. We used 3 tbsp almond milk, but if you’re not using a liquid sweetener, then you might want to add a little extra for a smoother consistency. If you prepare it, don’t forget to rate the recipe or leave a review below for us.

2. Chocolate Strawberry Truffle Pie

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups strawberries or other berries, fresh or frozen (250g)
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp cocoa powder or cacao powder
  • 1.5 cups raw cashews (150g)
  • 1/2 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup virgin coconut oil
  • 1/8 tsp uncut stevia, or 1/3 cup agave or pure maple syrup
  • 1/8 tsp salt
Instructions

In a bowl, cover the cashews with some water and let it there for at least 4 hours. Then drain and pat dry. Combine all ingredients in a Vita-Mix or high-powered blender or food processor. Only if using stevia, add 4 tablespoons water. Blend until a super-smooth texture is achieved. Taste and add more sweetener until desired taste is reached. Pour into a prepared pie crust, and freeze.
