Jamaican Musician

Bob Marley

Jamaica is a country in which there is a lot of talent, there are many singers, actors, actresses, models and many other professions. Today I am to talk about a specific singer who is Robert Nesta Marley, or better known as Bob Marley, was a Jamaican musician, guitarist and composer.

Robert Nesta Marley was born on February 6th, 1945 in Nine Mile, a small town north of the island of Jamaica, in the Caribbean Sea and he died at thirty-six years old, in his career he had several successes which have become musical classics.

Some of his songs were "No Woman No Cry", which is a reggae song popularized by Jamaican Bob Marley and The Wailers. Despite the fact that the song reached fame in 1974, as part of the Natty Dread album, Bob gave him the credits of his song to Natty Dread as a friendship show.

Another of his classics is "Could You Be Loved", a song by the reggae band Bob Marley and
The Wailers, which was released in 1980 as part of the last Uprising album and is included in a compilation album called Legend. It was written by Bob in 1979 during a plane ride, while the rest of the band was experimenting with the guitar. It is considered by many fans of reggae as an influence of the disco, making its style very similar to the dance hall.

Most of Bob Marley's early musical works were recorded with Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, who along with Marley were the most prominent members of the Wailers. The single of the Uprising the album was the last one released in life by the musician, it is inspired by prayers from the Bible and its rhythmic base took elements of disco music in order to connect with the African-American audience.
