A Famous American Actor
Dwayne Douglas Johnson (Hayward, California, May 2,
1972) is an American professional actor and wrestler, popularly known as The
Rock (La Roca, in Spanish), who works on sporadic visits to the WWE and as a
well-known actor in diverse movies, including playing Luke Hobbs in The Fast
and the Furious.
He is famous for finishing all his speeches in the
ring and when performing on stage with the phrase: "If you smell ... What
the Rock is cooking?" or also use the phrase: Finally, The Rock has come back, which gives a reference to the city where it is located.
Johnson's first lead role in a movie was in The
Scorpion King in 2002. For this, he was paid $ 5.5 million, a world record for
an actor in his first leading role. He also organized and produced
The Hero, a series of reality shows and has since continued to produce
television shows and movies through his production company Seven Bucks
Productions.
In 2013, Forbes magazine named Johnson the No. 25
among the 100 most powerful celebrities and has been among the top twenty ever
since. He was the highest paid actor in the world in 2016. Time magazine named
him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2016. In 2015,
Muscle & Fitness magazine named him the "Man of the Century".
It seems that its characteristic hardness exists only
on the screen. On the outside, many say that The Rock is one of the most humble.
Even, Dunkin Donuts offered to have a donut with his own name and Johnson
rejected it for being "too much". In addition, in 2006, he founded
his own foundation that works with children suffering from terminal illnesses.
A humble fighter and, apparently, also very charitable, for me is one of the best actors ever.
