Ajax vs Juventus

Ajax vs Juventus

True to his offensive and brazen style, Ajax put Juventus in a lot of difficulties, and he left with a valuable draw in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final thanks to his star Cristiano Ronaldo before the break (45).

The goal of the Portuguese star, who returned to play after overcoming a muscle injury suffered 15 days ago with his national team, answered Ajax with a goal from Brazilian David Neres, with a powerful cross-shot, in the first action of the second half (46 ).

The Ajax was true to its style and played a blatant and offensive football, getting to have more possession of the ball (58%) and looking more for the rival area than the Italians (17 shots on goal against 6), against a Juventus that barely disturbed the adversary arch, especially the second part.

Cristiano Ronaldo, as announced by Coach Massimiliano Allegri on the eve, started, but appeared very little in the first half, until the edge of the break hit a header to center of his compatriot Joao Cancelo to beat them.
