Rats

Rats are long-tailed rodents of the family Muridae, of the genus Rattus and related genera, distinguished from the mouse by being larger. Many people find rats as a disgusting animal and they're always trying to exterminate them, while others love them and eat them. 

For example, in China, it's pretty normal to see anyone eating a rat, which is horrible for foreigners who don´t understand why Chinese people eat them.



Besides, when you eat at a fast food restaurant in China, you can be eating rat without knowing it because they make you think that the rat meat is lamb meat, but they don´t taste the same, so people always find out that it isn't lamb meat but rat meat instead. For people, is really easy to perceive the rat's flavor because they distill an oil that gives them a characteristic odor and flavor, that helps everyone perceive that they´re rats.
