Never Is Late to Change for the Better
Laura and Gaby were two cousins that really loved each
other, so they always played, organized sleepovers, and threw parties together.
Their grandmother,
Elisa, always had a special preference for Gaby, because she was prettier,
taller, and more talented in ballet than Laura, who was too little for realizing about what was happening, but her mom did and that was the cause for a horrible fight in the family.
Although Laura was more intelligent and nicer, her grandmother
always preferred Gaby, so she gave her gifts everyday, always visited her and told
her that she was her only granddaughter. As a consequence, Laura started getting depressed as she grew up hating Gaby.
One day, Gaby told her little cousin that it wasn’t her fault, that she
loved her because she was nicer, friendlier, and more comprehensive than her
friends in school, but Laura kept hating her.
Their birthdays were on the same day, so as kids their mothers
always celebrated them in the same party; however, when they turned 15, Gaby
and Laura threw separate birthdays' parties, but Laura had a plan to spoil Gaby’s
birthday's celebration.
The day arrived and Laura planned everything, but
surprisingly, when she was on her way, her grandmother stopped her and told her
that she was wrong and she loved her two granddaughters equally and she was so
sorry about everything that she may have caused for all the wrongs done in the past. Though Laura was a little reluctant at the beginning, she forgave her granny, so that Laura and Gaby lived happily again.
The end.
