Although the twins were incredibly close at thirteen, three years later they are hardly speaking to each other. The early years are narrated by Noah as he struggles with an enormous secret that affects his past, present, and future. The later years are narrated by Jude and everything changes when she meets an arrogant and broken, yet beautiful boy. Jude also encounters a tormented, mysterious artist an even more unpredictable force that changes her life, and Noah’s, forever.
These brothers were inseparable, but something happens, leading them not to address to each other. There are secrets, envy, but also very much love and loyalty, this book explains perfectly how all these things can exist in a relationship. Moreover, when we can witness the favoritism of their parents, a lot of teens can feel identified with this bias.

Imagen relacionadaThis book is very special for me, the way it is written really achieves that the reader connects with the main characters, with their feelings, their pain, hopes and personal growth. The main characters, Noah and Jude have totally different personalities, and they fight every time, but besides all their problems, throughout the book we found out that their relationship is much closer than we thought.

All the characters (Even the ones that only appear in one scene) have their virtues and failings, and these help us to feel the protagonist's story as more realistic. Each one is so well described that I think that the story would not be the same if  one of them were absent.
It is a light book that you can read in a couple of days, is beautiful and 100% recommended.
