Animals On The Verge of Extinction 

Animals have been affected through years, thanks to the human race, since we don`t take care of them nor from the environment. We forget that their habitats are their homes and we just keep polluting them, like if there is nothing else to do, so we keep killing animals with no conciousness about it.

These are some animals on the verge of extinction:

Black Rhino

Black rhinos are being driven to extinction, there are just 5,000 black rhinos left in the wild, as they are being slaughtered for their horns to be used in Chinese medicine. A rhino horn is now worth £51,000 per kilo. The horn is also in demand for making traditional dagger handles in Yemen.




Amur leopard

People usually think of leopards in the savannas of Africa, but in the Russian Far East, a rare subspecies has adapted to life, but they are on the verge of extiction because their environment is being destroyed.

Pangolin

These are solitary and primarily nocturnal animals that are easily recognized by their full armor of scales. Also called scaly anteaters because of their preferred diet, pangolins are increasingly victims of illegal wildlife crime. They are killed for their meat and scales.
